your pharmacist

I am the pharmacist who owns the Familiprix pharmacy in Varennes since March 1999. After graduating from LAVAL University in Quebec City in pharmacy, I went to practice my profession in Abitibi for almost a year. Then I returned to work in my hometown Sorel-Tracy.

Many people ask me where my last name Paul-Hus comes from. In fact, it is from this region that my ancestors come from. During the colonization of the Richelieu Valley by France, my ancestor Paul Hus settled there to found family. Many Paul-Hus live in the Sorel area of Nicolet.

At the beginning of 1999, Familiprix approached me to buy the new Varennes pharmacy and since then I have not regretted anything. I have a wonderful clientele where young families meet with their little “boudechoux” and pensioners enjoying life. I consider that the pharmacist is part of a winning team DOCTOR-CLIENT-PHARMACIST. If I can help people prevent potential complications and improve their health by providing the  tools they need, my work is done.

From 2010 to 2014, I held the position of Director elected to the AQPP (Association of Pharmacists-Owners of Quebec). During this term, I had the honor of being named Treasurer of the association in January 2013. In addition, I participated, as a member, in the Negotiating Committee during the coming into force of the Act 41. Thus, my involvement under various committees, both at A.Q.P.P. and O.P.Q. allowed me to contribute to the protection of the interests and the advancement of the profession within these groups of great influence.

Since June 2015, I now own a second pharmacy located in Boucherville, a city in strong growth. Its citizens will benefit from personalized advice and services offered by my on-site team of pharmacists.
